With winter just around the corner I'm reminded
of just how much I love plaids.
I love plaid capes.....
And plaid caps.
Just give me this sweet plaid purse full of money
and I'll be dressing in style.
In my dreams, anyway!
How about you, do you love plaid too?
**********************************************************
I have a red wool plaid throw that was my grampa's thats all the plaid I own, but I do love it, oh and my kilts from my dancing days (highland Scottish) your photos are beautiful, love the bag!!Hope you are well,
ReplyDeleteI love plaids, too. Always have. I love the blackwatch plaid for men, too. Nothing like a plaid skirt and wool sweater for Fall. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI do love plaids! They always seem to incorporate such wonderfully warm rich colors. And they remind me of the kilts I wore when I was a little girl.
ReplyDeleteOh...Just look at that gorgeous orange plaid! what could compliment your log cabin more than a warm, fringed wool blanket. I noticed the other day that a Pendleton Woolens outlet store is opening just a few blocks from my home.
ReplyDeleteTonight it's snowing and your post just hits the spot!
Warm Blessings,
Carolynn
I had two skirt and sweater sets when I was in high school - one was a brown plaid skirt with a red sweater and other was a peach plaid skirt with a peach sweater. I loved both outfits! I saw some wool plaid skirts in a catalog the other day and remembered those outfits with such fondness! I am a bit broader in the beam these days, not sure that a plaid skirt would be flattering! But I do love the look of it (except Black Watch, which was my grade school uniform and which I had to wear for 8 years)! That bag is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePlaid reminds me of my Dad, he always had a flannel plaid shirt on in the Winter time. My cousins even always commented on it. Maybe plaid and Dads just go together:)
ReplyDeletePlaids are great, I love them. Especially when a man wears a plaid kilt, lol
ReplyDeleteMorning Kimberly......yes..I`m guilty of loving plaid......Love it so......great post, enjoyed.....Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteI am mad for plaid, especially black and red buffalo check, I can't resist it.
ReplyDeleteI never put much thought into plaid. But I do like to dress my boys in snuggly flannel shirts :-)
ReplyDeleteYes I LOVE plaids, as long as they are not on me...way too big for that, haha. But snugly flannel plaid shirts on all ages of guys, LOVE IT! Enjoy your week-end!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge, I mean huge lover of plaid!!!!!!!!!! I wear long wool plaid skirt to work almost everyday in the fall and winter. I currently an sewing a buffalo check plaid skirt. I'm one of those crazy people that think my plaid need to match on the side seams. Ugh!! The fun of cutting out. How about you send that purse my way and we could both go shopping!!!
ReplyDeletewell your plaid collection makes me scream for older weather!!! how fun
ReplyDeleteI do too, I just love plaid, in fact I have a old purse like that and it is worn out but I still have it but I love it. I wish mine was full of money too. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's funny...I just put on my first (and only) plaid shirt and then read this post! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteMe too, sister!
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to love?!!
Plaids are so cheerful.
Enjoy this day.
I love plaids....they scream warm, soft and comfy..
ReplyDeleteHugs!
There is something about plaid that looks so warm and comfy. I like the looks of it on others, but I don't think I own any.
ReplyDeleteI do like plaid, but don't wear it much as I don't think it looks good on me. It's very attractive on others, tho. Love the purse...now I'd go for that. Especially if it were full of money! :)
ReplyDeleteI adore plaid. When I was a young, slim thing, I made myself a red plaid Xmas dress with a full skirt. I loved that dress.
ReplyDeleteNow that plaid is not quite as flattering on me, I limit it to pillows and throws and the like. But that plaid hat would still look great on me.
Great little blog!
