One week ago last Sunday we got our 1st decent snowfall. Tim and I took the opportunity to go out to gather the greens. Don't ask me why, but I just
can't get in the mood for holiday decorating until
there is snow on the ground.
Here I am attempting to cut the wee tree for the deck.
However, in the end, it was my husband who ended up doing all of the cutting!
It was such a gorgeous day all around. The beautiful snow, the bright sunshine, and our lovely Lake Superior!

It does look like it was a gorgeous day. Cute decorations on your porch! :)
ReplyDeleteA big thank you for showing us the lake, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI understand why you can't get into all the glitz of Christmas. Maybe this year is the year to focus more on family and God. We have kept ours simple and I find it wonderfully freeing.
Merry Christmas Kimberly!

Hi Kimberly, Love the photos of the new snow. We have only had one storm-about a month and a half ago but snow is predicted for tonight and tomorrow. I've enjoyed the mild weather but would love a little bit now. Have a joyous evening.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Noreen

ReplyDeleteI love those decorations at the door! How cute! Is that minnow bucket, LOL? If we waiting for snow, then we'd be celebrating the holidays in January or February - or not at all! Gosh, it's been really warm here. Wore a t-shirt for most of the day. But I'm not complaining because the gas bill is low this year!
