I am in great need of a new tea cosy.
Mine, which is of good quality and really keeps my tea nice and hot for a good long time, is looking nasty.
It's all tea-stained and faded.
Which is why I'm not showing it to you!
I've been searching the web for something to replace mine.
This Matrogshka is sure cute.
Dutch Sisters are very nice too.
It's hard not to like any of Cath Kidston's products!
And I do have several vintage tablecloths that I could make into a tea cosy very easily.
This ladies done a nice job with hers.
I drink two tea pots of tea a day.
I hope it's good for me since I've been doing this for years now.
Please don't tell me it causes wrinkles!
Which one would you choose?
It's pretty hard to pick one, they are all so unique.
Stay tuned and I'll show you my choice.
I love a tea cozy but the only time I use one is when I have company for tea. I have a chintz flowered one and it's ok but the puffy liner is stained. I have washed it before but the stains are still there. I like the Cath Kidstone one and the Dutch Girls. Both pretty. Making one from an old tablecloth is a great idea. Can't wait to see which you choose. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI pick...ALL OF THEM!! Really, so hard to choose. Very pretty and I want to see the tea stained one, lol. See, you just can't tell us your not going to post that pic.;) Have a great Thursday!!! (already?)--Blessings
ReplyDeleteGood morning! I could use one too! I don't think you could go wrong on any of these choices, but I like the Cath Kidston one best, but I will look into maybe making one for me. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteLove them all...I can see you whipping up one from one of your vintage linens!
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't pick, I like them all. I don't use a cozy since I only drink tea at work. I don't think they would like a cozy sitting at my desk, even if I think it would be cute. I have to start my day with coffee. I'll have to think on the wrinkles, I'm sure getting a lot, my age you say!!!!
ReplyDeleteI use my tea cosy every day. I don't like a cup of tea made with a bag in a mug - it's not proper tea. I have three cosies, for different sizes of pots. I like the one by Dutch Sisters!
ReplyDeleteWell you know I would choose a chicken. I think that all of them are very cute. I think you could have such fun making one.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose the Dutch Sisters, but any one of them would be nice!
ReplyDeleteI think there all cute, pick one that matches the kitchen remodel.
ReplyDeleteI love Kath Kidstons and the ones made from vintage table cloths, they are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day and yes tea is good for you. But if you put a lot of sugar in it then that is not so good. I'm sure you don't though! :)
Hugs, Cindy
Oh, they are all so pretty and unique in their own way - it's definitely hard to choose :) The animals are very cute though. My grandparents drink a lot of tea too, and they have always been healthy so maybe it's the tea helping :)
ReplyDeleteHugs!
I'd want all of them they're so cute and colorful! I drink coffee in the morning and tea in the evening but usually only one cup of each. I can't wait to see which one you choose!
ReplyDeleteHave I been living under a rock or what? I've never heard of or seen these cute little things. I love the bird one, that would be my choice.
ReplyDeleteWe learn from each other xo
Hugs!
Oh- I used to make tea cozies for friends back in the 70's. I love them and don't have a single one left anymore. Wonderful post- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI don't drink tea but those are all so darling! It would be hard to make a choice.

I love the vintage tablecloth cozy and the matroyshka cozy, and the embroidered linen cozy and the chicken cozy... I can't wait to see which one you choose. I have 4... no, 5 cozies... I can't remember. Several. And I love each one of them for different reasons.
ReplyDeletePS- I hope it erases wrinkles. ;-)
I don't think I've ever seen a tea cosy before. They are so pretty and handy! I love the felt ones you've shown, but then again the red one is pretty too! I like these and might just have to jump on the bandwagon and make one for my new habit...enjoying tea!

ReplyDeleteHow colorful they are!!!

I know it is because of the colors, but I just love the Dutch Sisters and the Cath Kidston tea cosies.
