I told you yesterday that Tim was going to be picking up our chicks and that I would show them to you today.
I'm sure it may have come as a surprise to many of you that are regular readers of my post that I would be raising chicks since you know that I will be leaving in two weeks to travel to the Yukon for the summer.
But I had to have my April Fool's Day fun.
The truth is that I don't even like Peeps.
But they are cute and I was able to make my one and only Spring arrangement with a couple of them.
Did you notice my little sign?
So cute! I'm hoping Spring gets the message soon too!
ReplyDeleteWell I did wonder... Too polite to say...thought perhaps you were not leaving after all...
ReplyDeleteMore shocking is that you don't like Peeps! They are in my top five Easter candy favs. And now they are for so many other seasons, too.
Yes, come on spring! Hope that you get to see many signs of it there before you leave.
Cute......enjoyed your post..
ReplyDeletehaha...you got me going! And I don't really care for the peeps either. Your little arrangement is darling, and yep I noticed that sign. lol Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking it had to be a April Fools joke because I thought the same thing about you leaving. I am glad it was just peeps. I don't like them either so I wonder do people eat them or just use them for decoration.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness..you don't like Peeps? (lol)--I had also wondered because I knew you were leaving. I was going to comment that our Tractor Supply Store has real chicks and ducklings for sale. So cute. My husband is such a good sport about taking me over there so I can visit them, lol. Blessings
ReplyDeleteLove your little craft Kimberly. So funny too. Peeps make my teeth hurt just looking at them.LOL. But I know many people are crazy for them. Blessings for a great day. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI did wonder if the little chicks would go to the Yukon too!!! Love the sign, it'll be spring when you return home. Cheers. Jean
ReplyDeleteOh you got me, Kimberly. I like your old potato masher decorated for Easter/spring. I don't care for Peeps either as they're just too sugary but I bought some to sit out at some time for Easter. I also like your little sign. Have a good afternoon.
ReplyDeleteYou got me today Kimberly! How have I missed that you will be in the Yukon for the summer? What will you be doing there?
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day!
Hugs,
Noreen

ReplyDeleteLOL- Hey- you can send ME the Peeps- I like them! Disgusting things!!!! lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThat's very cute! I hope spring finds you soon. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I am not a big fan of peeps either but they are pretty adorable. Oh we want Spring to come and actually stay here in Chicagoland. Hopefully soon.

cute cute -- I want spring to find us both - wink!

Fun post, Kimberly! Here in southern Ontario, spring is being fickle; we've really just had two days of it so far, hope it decided to stay a while!
ReplyDeletePoppy
PS: I take it you won't be able to join us for Afternoon Tea, unless you really are flying down! Let me know!:))
Ha! too funny:>) It actually took me moment to figure out you were talking about the peeps. Happy April!
ReplyDeleteNow aren't those Spring chicks just the cutest? Love em!
