My Repuposed Vintage Tablecloth Project

 

Well, here it is Ladies, my first repurposed tablecloth project.
 
A T-Towel!
 
 
Here is a closer look.
I chose to do this all by hand.
I wanted the flowers to stand out a bit, so I hand-stitched around each one.
 
 
The whole project was done in only two evenings time.
Easy peasy!
 
Thank you all for your suggestion for other Vintage Tablecloth projects!
I am now trying to decide what to do next..

I'm busy working mornings but my afternoons and evening are free right now. 
I'm trying to work on a few sewing projects and hopefully spend a little more time reading.

    Your tea towel looks great! I like the other projects you listed here too. I love the cheery bright colors and all the flowers on those old tablecloths.

    It is just beginning to be gardening season here. In fact, I am hoping to get out and buy some plants today.

    Peg bag, my pick of the bunch, and yes, I am doing more 12.5 inch blocks to add to the ones I did some years ago, realising that 9 were nowhere near enough to make a quilt, unless I added more colours and did very fancy settings. I want it set square, and just one sashing. Photos to come soon. I'm so glad you have hours in the day for yourself, Enjoy. Cheers, Jean.

    I love your tea towel Kimberly. It's really pretty. The other ideas are cute too. I've been working in the yard the past 2 days. Well, part days. I have my gardens pretty well cleaned up. My body is killing me though! Enjoy the weekend.
