Hi Friends, I thought today I would upload another bear video for you. My husband advised me not to get carried away. You know boring you with too many bear photos, etc. But I assured him this is only the second video and I only have one more left to show anyway. One of the things that I've learned in my bear watching is how bears like to graze on grasses. I knew that they liked to eat berries and have found rocks in the yard that they have turned over for grubs, but this grazing is a new revelation for me.
We are heading over to my daughter tomorrow to spend the weekend and take the grandkids to the pumpkin patch. It is so much fun. They have a petting zoo and mazes, all kinds of neat stuff for the kids to see and do. Sure hope it doesn't rain!
Hope you all have a great weekend and I'll try to remember to get lots of photos to show off!
Have fun at the pumpkin patch! It's one of my favorite events of the year :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this! I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing... I have watched both and I am not bored yet! Have fun at the pumpkin patch...
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things about blogging is getting the opportunity to see what life is like in other areas. Wow, I can't imagine seeing a bear out my window! Your video was great and it looks so pretty by the water's edge.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend with your grands. Sounds so fun. I'll keep my fingers crossed for no rain.
How amazing to see a bear right outside your house! I hope you have a great weekend. Sounds like it is going to be a fun one. :-D
ReplyDeleteWow I didn't know they grazed either. That guy looks really big. He doesn't seem to like your camera.
ReplyDeleteWe have lots and lots of black bears in the mountains but not around where I live.
Was that you talking? You have a nice voice.
Have fun with your grand kids. It sounds like a nice weekend.
Keep'em coming!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Happy Home, it so much fun to what it is like in other areas, that we would never see. Besides,if you loose the tape, some how, you will always have it on your post.
Do you think it's the same bear?
I am just fascinated with these bears in your yard. I cannot even imagine what that must be like. I would always be on guard. We've had bear sightings as there is a bear migration trail that goes through our area, but I've never seen one. He seemed awfully close to a home structure there. Be careful!
ReplyDeleteAmazing to see those bears so up close and personal. I love seeing them. Have fun at the pumpkin patch! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWe use to see bear all the time but for some reason this year we have not.
ReplyDeletethanks for the video
Cathy
That is a beautiful video! He sure is 'right in your backyard' too! I hope you have a fun weekend with your grandkids at the pumpkin patch. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteHow close were you to that bear Kimberly? I lived in Northern BC for years and saw several bears, but I did not get close to any of them, I'm afraid I don't particularly like them.
ReplyDeleteInteresting though!
Thanks so much for coming over to comment on my blog today, I will be back.
Hugs, Cindy
That bear is beautiful! What a wonderful video, with the lake behind...
ReplyDeleteGreat video! I like how at about 47 seconds he looked right at the camera and then went right on grazing. Like he was thinking:"Oh, her with the camera again!"
ReplyDeleteI love watching bears!
