Hello Friends!
I hope you don't mind that I'm taking you along with me on a journey down memory lane.
I am currently working on getting our present home ready to put on the market and find myself short on time.
This home, like the one we sold a year ago, was on Lake Superior.
It was just a camp when we bought it and was in need of a whole lot of TLC.
Someday I'll have to dig out the old photos so you can see the floor that consisted of three different linoleum patterns!
This side board was built for me by my father in-law.
I just told him what I had envisioned and he built it just as I had dreamed it.
My husband installed all of the wainscoting, piece by piece.
And a dear neighbor of ours, who was in his seventies at the time, built this arched covering for my stove fan and the custom corner cabinet that rolled out for my baking sheets.
He taught Tim so much in those few months,
now he is able to do all of our remodeling and building himself.
I'm thinking there are times that Tim rues the day he ever learned how to do any of this, if you know what I mean!
