Happy Fourth of July From California to Canada!

I had such a surprise when Tim came home from Canada Post  two days ago with a package that had arrived all the way from California!

Aren't these coaster neat?
My blogger friend, Debbie, from THE WAY WE ARE made these cute Patriotic coasters.
When I commented about how cute I thought they were she told me she had made extras and she would send them to me.

If you have never visited Debbie's blog, I think you will want to....
Debbie is a Grandmother of eleven and she is always sewing.
Honestly, I mean always!
She sews clothes and pj's for her Grandchildren.
She makes beautiful quilts and pillows for her family members too.

Anyway, 'Thank You', Debbie, for your sweet gift and your thoughtfulness!

For those of you who don't know, I was born in the U. S and spent the first 45 years of my life there.
When our youngest son graduated in 2001 my Canadian husband and I bought a business in Ontario and we have lived here (in Canada) every since.

I can truly say that I love both countries!
And I am equally proud to celebrate Dominion Day and The Fourth of July.
I thank God that he has allowed me the experience and the privilege of living in two wonderful and free countries.
I AM BLESSED!

  3. How wonderful for you to be able to share both countries! Lucky you. My Mom was born in Canada but became a U S citizen very early on but we use to camp there a lot. It truly is beautiful but I would love to see more.

  4. Those are lovely hand coasters. I'm like you, an American married to a Canadian. I will always love the USA and Canada too.
