Busy As A Bee

I've been as busy as a little bee lately.
I've been painting the living room and hallway walls. And then painstakingly trying to decide just what to put back on the walls. This is not an easy task for me. Even when I'm trying to achieve a clean and sparse look, I realize it still looks cluttered!
You know I mentioned I wanted to incorporate a vignette of treasures I collected from the Yukon.
Well, I have done two. One in the bedroom and one
in the living room. I will have pics for you on Thursday and you can tell me what you think.
Tomorrow is an all day visit to town. We are working on the kitchen, so there's a lot of details yet to decide.
Thank you all for your prayers for Sherri. I am waiting to hear from her. I'll keep you posted as
soon as I learn anything.
Blessings-Kimberly

  2. Can't wait to see all your changes. It is hard to not overdo with all the things you love. But who cares clutter it up if you love it:)

  6. Oh, Kim, this would be very hard for me...to pare things down because I like a more "full" look apparently. Recently, I have been trying to keep vignettes on the simple side; however, I gave up and just started adding layers upon layers. Guess what? I prefer the layers upon layers so I'm going to surrender to it. Wishing you all the best with your decorating and can't wait to see your color choices and what you'll do with your wall decor.

  9. Good luck with your redecorating. I know how that is when you want to change things but aren't sure how much you want to change.
