True Confessions of a Pinterest Copycat

True Confessions of a Pinterest Copycat?
I'm sure you're wondering what this is all about...
And I'm going to tell you, of course!

I, like many of you if you will admit it, spend a good deal of time surfing pinterest.
Maybe you consider it a waste of time.....
I don't!
I have learnt so much from the many other pinners.
And this is what I'm going to share with you.

I want to let you know which pins that I've tried that I considered a success and those pins which I found to be flops.
I want to show you the many different projects I've tried (I did say I was a copycat, after all).
On occasion I'll share the recipes that I've tried, sewing/craft projects I've copied, household tips that work, and so much more.

You get the picture I'm sure, so I won't rattle on.
Tomorrow I will be back with my first copycat post.
 I hope to see then!

  1. OH yes, I think there are MANY of us copycats out there, lol. When I am ready to sew or create many things I take a stroll through pintrest or Etsy first to get ideas or to see what looks like it would or would not work for me etc. I've bought MANY patterns that way.. I am KNEE deep in making up Advent Calendars for my grand kids right now, except I can't find one that matches the look I see in my head so I am kind of having to wing it, lol. I often combine things from different projects, lol, and then are surprised when it doesn't go together like I planned, or worse yet, "pretend" that it's a whole new idea...haha. I am looking forward to SEEING what you have done, lol. Enjoy your day!

    1. Ha! I agree, they are new if you combine two other ideas. You're so smart to get started on Christmas already, Debbie.

  2. Sounds like fun. I haven't gotten into the Pinterest craze. It will be interesting to see what you find. :)

  3. I rarely go to Pinterest unless I'm looking for something specific or perhaps for seasonal decor trends - that's it. I'll look forward to what you've been pinning Kim.
