What a Week...

This last week has really been a roller coaster week.
After all the negotiations and the dealings I don't mind saying I felt spent.
But now it's settled and we have a new town to move to and a new dwelling to move in to.
I spent a good deal of today searching the yard for signs of Spring.
I found a Marsh Marigold in a flower bed.

I found this. Whatever it is, I know it spreads easily.
And it blooms a pretty purple flower.
The gulls were noisy today and seemed to be
having a gay ole' time in the water!
The water was so calm and clear today I could see the rocks shining through.
When the lake is shimmering it always reminds me of Anne of Green Gables.
After crossing over a rumbling bridge she looks back at the water and says,
"Good night, dear Lake of the Shiny Waters. I always say good night to the things I love, just as I would to people. I think they like it. That water looks as if it was smiling at me.
L.M. Montgomery
And now I say good night to you from my own shiny waters.
I think Anne and I might have been kindred spirits
had she been for real......

I would love to know where you are moving to, curious people like to be in the know. :)
