Shopping For The Birds

I'm visiting with my Mom & Dad now, so I displayed this birdie treasure on one of her
shelves for you to see.
The 1st one shown was $1.00. This one was $4.00
I've no plans for this yet, but for four bucks I wasn't
letting this one slip through my fingers.
This is an old tablecloth. I just loved the colors and the rose pattern. I thought  Spring pillows for the
bedroom maybe. Who knows what I'll finally come up with for it's use, but for one dollar, it was coming home with me.
I also bought two beautiful hankies to start a collection for a possible shower curtain. Oh my, I just realized I'd have to live to be 100 to finish all
these projects-wish me luck my friends!

  1. Winters are long, Kim. That's the good news for your project goals. ☺ I think you hit the jackpot with all these items at only a dollar each. Wow! The chenille? I really want to see what you do with that.

  6. Kim, Welcome to the club of unfinished projects. One of the bylaws of the club is you must collect new projects before any of the old ones are completed! Congrats on your membership! LOL!!!

  13. Those are sweet little bird figurines. And is that sweet little girl in the photo you? I like the idea of a shower curtain make of hankies but it may take a lot of hankies and time to collect them! I've seen them as window valances. :) Not to many to collect. LOL
