I'm Wondering.........

As many of you know we will soon be making our
way back home again to the north woods of Ontario. As I day dream about home, I can't help
but wonder.............
Will the waters of  the lake still be warm enough
to dip my feet in?

Will my friendly black bear still be around to come and visit me?
Will there be any sunsets like this one waiting to stand in awe and wonder just how magnifigant
heaven will possibly be?
Will there be any flowers still in bloom? Maybe  a
yard full of wild flowers will be waiting for me since
there was no one to keep the lawn mowed!
As you can see I'm probably spending way too
much time dreaming when I'd better be packing.
Only four more days, ladies. Four more days!!

  1. well I live only minutes from the home you are returning too and I can tell you, the flowers are mostly still in blossom and its been hot hot hot so the lake should be still warm enough, (does it ever really warm up, lol) and your friendly bear is probably waiting for you to return, safe journey, when you come home you just have to come for tea, come anytime,

  4. Oh I can't wait until you get home. I think you will get home just in time for a tiny bit of flowers, and dipping your toes in the water and just getting to be a homebody.

  25. Just dropping in to say hi...found you from MiMi Sue's Cottage.

I love that your are "simplifing" your life. My goodness your log home is lovely, and I love all the wilderness around you.

I used to live in Utah for the past 28 years, but due to a new marriage, I am back where I came from...Alberta....and married a cowboy with 160 acres.

I actually had the opportunity to visit Ontario last summer. I HAD NEVER been east. Wow, I loved how green and lush it was. I was visiting another blogging friend in Plantagenet.

hope to come back here again, and enjoy this lovely life with you

  26. You will be on your way very soon, I'm thinking. I would so love to meet you as you pass through Winnipeg. I know it's probably not possible, with your driving schedule and me not having a car to meet you for a quick cup of coffee somewhere, but if it should work out answer me back and I will give you my phone number.
    Hugs, Cindy
