Sharing A Good Book

Yesterday Tim and I checked out the local
library. I was happy to see that for a small town it has a nice selection of books.
I was drawn to the bright colors on the cover
of this Quilting In No Time book.
Can you guess why?
It was because it is green!
Green like the trees I've been dreaming about.
It was great to see this table runner made from
happy Spring flower fabrics.
Sad, but with more snow on the way, I have to
take my Spring from wherever I can find it.
Here is another version of those oh so famous
pillow cases we all love.
I like the patchwork strip that was added.

  4. Those pretty spring fabrics are beautiful. We sure need something to mimic the season right now don't we? Tomorrow night we get the storm with over 10 cm. of snow. Ugh! Surely this will be the end of winter weather won't it? Have a super weekend Kimberly. Maybe you'll get some sewing done. Hugs, Pam

  11. Hey! I could do that. Simple, yet beautiful. Just what I like.

When I saw the cover of the book, I knew it was just for you. Not only green but the old, kitchen tablecloth fabric. So you!

  13. That looks like a good book, the quilting book, and I love the runner and the teapot cozy, the buttons on it make it unique, I should make that!
I also love the pillow cases. I should go over and look at your sewing board.
It was 0 deg C. when I got up this morning, it was the warmest morning this year so far!!! Funny to think of isn't it. Everything outside is dirty and muddy, but beautiful!!!
    Have a good day!

  16. I've been kinda wanting to start sewing again. After seeing these cute things, now I KNOW I want to make something! I don't know whether to thank you or not! Ha Ha. It's just finding time and tearing myself away from the computer is the problem...that and seeing if my sewing machine still works! It's been in storage for too long. I love these patterns and will be looking in our library for the book. Thanks, Kimberly!
