A Fun Weekend

I had a wonderful weekend with our daughter Emily's family. The very best part
of it was that she got the test results back and she doesn't have cancer! She had
a cyst on her ovaries that had burst and that was why she was suffering all the
symptoms similar to ovarian cancer. I hope I've  finally learned my lesson with
WebMD. Although, I doubt it!! But 'thank you' again for praying on her behalf.

It was blowing snow and cold, so we stayed inside. We played lots of games, baked
together, drew pictures, and I even taught Emily and Starlet to crochet. Which, as
you know, I barely know the basics myself! But it was still fun. Emily says now that
they know how to make scallops, they are making a scarf for Rosie. Rosie, their cat!

Sorry there are no photos today. Not only is my camera out of commission, I
discovered when I tried to upload a older photo that my Picasa space is full.  I've
bought more space, but it takes 24 hours before it is processed, so......tomorrow.
Until then, enjoy your day. It's dreary and snowing here.

  4. How wonderful! I, too, and prone to ovarian cysts, and have had a large tumor removed from one ovary. Unfortunately, they tend to come back and cause pain, but they don't tend to be cancerous, so that part is all good :-)

  16. Praise God for the good news. It's bad enough that Emily had any trouble, but to know that it was nothing more serious. Phew!

Do you resize your photos for displaying? I have not begun to run out of space and your blog is not as old. Hmmm...

Can we wait until Mother's Day? I don't think so!

  22. All I can say is "Thank you, Jesus for answered prayer". I'm so glad we can lay our burdens down at His feet. And it never hurts to have friends who are willing to do it on your behalf, or on your daughter's behalf as the case was here.
God is SO very, very good.
    Love and hugs, Cindy

  24. Oh Kimberly I am soo happy to hear this!! Praise God....My dil just had a similar scare. She was told she had a "mass" inside her ovary...turned out to also be a cyst. The tests are always soo scary. Her's has not burst though. But it is big. We have already lost one dil to ovarian cancer. Don't even like to hear those words. Thank you Jesus! Have a wonderful day!
