In January  many of my blogger friends were choosing a 'word' to be representative of
this new year. One chose the word 'challenge', another chose 'create', another 'inspire'.
Although, I didn't openly participate in sharing a word, I was impressed that my word
for this year would be 'strentgh'. I truly had no inkling at that time that I would be dealing
with health issues of my two youngest children or any other issues out of the ordinary.
Do I believe the Lord spoke this word to me Yes. Audibly? No. But
I do know he speaks to me through his Holy Spirit and His Word.
I, like so many of you, have been through many trials that test ones faith. Whether it was
health issues, children issues, finances, business; I could go on and on. But you've been
there yourself, you know what I'm talking about. I've been weak at times and would
not have made it through but for the supernatural strength that God has supplied to me.
Because history has proven to me his faithfulness, I will continue to trust.
And I really can't put into words how much your prayers and words of encouragement
completely changed my outlook these last two days. I was so filled with worry and
anticipation of the worst, but I'm now hopeful  and trusting.
Your prayers have been heard. Thank you, my friends.

  1. God is so good in every situation and all these trials and challenges of life continue to prove Him.

Much love and ongoing prayers. Keep looking up!

  2. When my world fell apart after learning of our Kami's cancer diagnosis, my heart screamed out to The LORD and I asked Him "How will I ever endure this?" and He brought to my mind...Philippians 4:7 The peace of GOD which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. - Little did I know, years ago when I was a Youth leader and memorized that with my group, that I would come to understand that Promise in a very real way. - I speak your Emily's name out loud and hold her up to Our LORD for complete healing many times a day as I'm sure all of the other prayer warriors do too..we are all with you..there are no miles between us in Jesus! xxxooo

  3. I'm so glad you've found the strength you need. :-)

  4. I'm so glad you've found the strength you need. :-)

  5. Oh you are such a sweet lady, and I believe the Lord whispered that word into your ears. Funny how we seem to always seem to hear what we need. I know that he will supply you with the strength you need, and supply those around you with strength to support you when yours weakens. I and many other blogger friends are also going to be here for you! Take care! All will be well.

  6. This post is near and dear to my heart.....

  9. Big hugs...hold on tight, He will not fail.

  10. Your post really blessed me today.
There was a time in my life when I was so ill, and I could barely find the strength to crawl out of bed...BUT GOD! Yes, God helped me to pull down the strongholds that were keeping me held captive and it is only by HIS strength that I survived...This reminds me of how awesome our God is...
    thanks for sharing.

  13. Hi there, Over the years I always find my word interesting and have been somewhat cautious because it is usually a trait that needs to be developed in my life-like the word faith, or patience. You are such an encouragement to so many others that I think it is natural that so many would want to encourage you.
Have a blessed evening dear one.

  14. It's amazing how much strength we can get from our faith. Hugs to you, Kimberly. Prayers continue for your family here.

  15. I am so glad you feel peace.. He will do more than we ask or think..
    Such a faithful God..
    Praying for you all..

  16. I am still praying for you! May God give you the strength you need!

  17. Hi Kimberly. I do believe God speaks to us but often times we just don't stay quiet and listen. I remember the words "Be still and know that I am God" and realize yes, HE IS GOD! Listen. Be still. He will speak. I'm glad you listened and he gave you a word. I'm still thinking of you and your dear Emily. Praying. God bless. Hugs, Pamela

  18. Thinking of you and your family,Kimberly. Prayers for Emily.

  19. I'm so glad God has heard our prayers on yours and Emily's behalf. God is SO very, very good.
Love and hugs and prayers, Cindy
