Friday's Flowers

Flowers...are a proud assertation that a ray of beauty outvalues
      all the utilities of the world.       {Ralph Waldo Emerson 1844}
Have a beautiful weekend my friends.

  1. Just wanted to let you know I carried my Canada bag yesterday to go visit Mom at the nursing home! I had it stuffed with some new clothes, a gown, tops and a new sweater. The sweater will be her favorite since the ac makes her wear one even in the summer months. She thought the bag was so pretty! The little Canada sock purse is going on my Christmas tree this year. Thanks again Kim, have a great weekend sweetie!

  2. I love your beautiful flowers and the quote! It makes me think, once again, how I should make sure to do that very thing to welcome the weekend...Have a good one! xo

  3. Thank you, you have a great weekend too! Love your clothesline from the last post. I do something similar in my back yard

  4. What a cute title for your post!!
Is that an Olive Oil can?
    Very impressive.

  5. Hi Kimberly, Thanks so much for coming to my blog. I am enjoying yours. You must have an awesome life there in Canada in a long cabin. WOW--I'm envious!!!!

BUT--I shouldn't be. We have a cute little retirement home here on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. We are retired, love to garden, love to hike and travel --and I love birds. Hope you come back to my blog often--and I'll return to yours.

Good luck with your flowers. We grow ROSES --plus many others, and loe them all.

    Thanks again.

  6. Kimberly,
I am so glad you stopped by my blog! I love your blog..I love your home your property, your view and your view on life no simpler :-)
Looking foreword to you future posts, I am now a follower. I hope you will sign up and follow mine as well!

  7. What pretty flowers. :o)
Have a nice weekend, as well.

  8. Lovely flowers. I also loved the clothes drying on the gazebo. Great pics. You asked where I got the sheep print. I found it online, but for the life of me I can't remember where. I just copied it to my computer as inspiration and so I don't really have a real paper copy of it. There are a lot of places on line with free art that you can copy, I apologize that I don't remember where I found this one. Hugs, Marty

  9. Hi Kimberly, thanks for visiting tonight. I am shocked. Did I win the bag??? I can't believe it. I must have missed the post about it. My email is Email me and I'll send you my address. (We don't have outlook on our computer). Thanks so much. Yippeee! PS I love your new clothesline! And the photo today too.

  10. What a sweet bouquet and the perfect start to the weekend. Have a beautiful one!

  11. Hi Kimberly! Oh, I'm so glad you popped in to see me and thank you so much for following my blog!
Now what a lovely post. The flowers are so pretty and love them poked into the little tin.
You have a wonderful weekend too.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  12. A great container for your flowers! You have a wonderful weekend as well...

  13. Beautiful! And do you know how many times I've saved my Gallo tin to do 'something' with it and never got around to it. : )

PS. I can't imagine the wine is very cheap from the Canaries and I loved your comment 'where there's a will there's a way' that was my original title for that post. Ingenuity indeed!

  14. That is such a beautiful bouquet-- that yellow can makes it look so cheerful.

Hope you're having a relaxing Sunday-- and a good rest of the week.
I can't wait to see how the work comes along on the MIL suite...Pat

  15. This is really cute. Are you sharing this post with my newbie party, because the other one came up, your first post, and I do not see my button.

All of your comments are read and much appreciated.
